🎬 Calling all creative minds aged 12-18! Express your unique voice through film at the "Young Film Makers Festival," hosted by Freedom Youth Family Justice Center. This is your chance to make a difference, share your story, and shine a light on the issues that matter to you.

Date & Time: March 9th, 2024, at 6:30 PM
Location: Freedom Youth Family Justice Center
Age Group: 12-18 years old
🎥 Rules and Regulations:
Theme: "A Week in My Shoes" - Explore the moments that have shaped your journey.
Device: Use any device you're comfortable with - smartphones, cameras, or even tablets!
Film Duration: Keep it under 40 minutes.
Clarity: Film must be clear and noise free.
Tell A Story: Your Submission can highlight important issue you are facing, triumphs, or Struggles. (We welcome personal stories.
No Violence: Film must not have derogatory or explicit language or violence towards anyone. Your film will be disqualified.
Must Reside: Film Makers must reside within the five boroughs of
Must Be Present: Film Maker must be present on the film day throughout the duration of the event to receive prize otherwise prize will go to the runner up candidate.
Film Submission: Must submit their video Vlog to Freedom Youth Family Justice Center YouTube Channel.
Due Date: Submission deadline is February 29th, 2024.
